My Review of GlobalTestMarket
GlobalTestMarket is a survey panel that is essential to have part of your collection because they send out so many survey invites. Some of the emails can be very similar, but I feel like it's better to receive more emails than none at all. The rewards are fair based on the time and effort also. They also have sweepstakes which I've actually won before - once! It's worth entering. I like this one.

too many error codes
Getting to many error codes HTTP404. Not getting compensation for surveys completed, closed out. If this persists I will contact CEO -

little or no compensation or reward
It did not clearly say in the Rewards/Redeem section that you needed 1,000 points in order to even redeem anything. I collected 200 points thinking I could redeem one of the 200 points items but it would not let me! I did so many tests for free bascially because by the time I earn 1000 points will take forever. They give such little amount of points for a 20 or even 30 minute test! You are basically working for free for this company who keeps all their earnings from the company. There should be no 1000 points minimum to be fair like Swagbucks. I feel scammed! -

Not supportive or helpful
Have been a member for about 3 years now. Never a problem redeeming cash or prizes. However, I redeemed a gift card for a restaurant about 5 months ago. Went to use it last week and we were told by the restaurant that the gift card # was invalid. It took a week for GTM to get back to me only to say that the # has already been "used" and they can't replace it. Used by who? One of their employees? So basically I have no recourse. Since my points are so low right now I may not continue as a panelist. -

PAssable, but customer service is pants
Reasonable survey rate, but can't believe the number of times you get screened out, to be followed by "here's a new survey" click on it "Survey is closed". Record is for six consecutive "Here's a survey" Also their screening leaves a lot to be desires, like sending surveys for 60 year old. Also why have wait to about £30 of rewards before you can claim? -

has been ok but...
it has been working good except for today, I got 3 surveys but when I went to load them I kept getting a message saying the page could not be connected and there was something wrong with the page??? -

great company/bad customer service
being a member of this panel for years I love how quickly one can accumulate points....if you need support just forget about but the survey quality and frequency is great -
April 8, 2015
Again?
That's the second time one of your surveys has waited until the end (and being longer than promised) before saying that I've taken this survey before --- when I haven't taken this survey before. -

March 5, 2015
not good
This place will let you think you are getting rewards until after roughly thirty minutes go by and whammo - disqualified! This happened to me on several occasions, so for this I will not come back. A simple google search will yield much more reliable survey sites to get rewards from. -
February 24, 2015
worst site now be careful those who join it
Global test market was good for 2-3 years but now there are cheating, I worked for about 850 points and suddenly closed my account -

G.T.M
I like it; but I don't like the fact that you have to get 1,000 Market Points in order to get a $50.00 check and that if you ''screen out''; you get sweepstake entries. -

Slow to cash out
Global Test Market is a high quality survey panel that pays fair. The surveys are always interesting and short. Customer support is courteous and responsive. They hire workers internationally and pay through PayPal. The only problem is the high redemption threshold limit. -
January 20, 2015
Skip this one
I have a lot of experience with survey sites and this one is not in my top ten. Every site has their down sides, but usually the up-sides will make it worth it. This one doesn't do that. The surveys are lengthy and you can get through very long ones only to be told you have screened out or the test is closed - and this happens A LOT. It also is very difficult to get in touch with support. HOWEVER, once you DO get enough points to cash out, the payout is quick and easy. -
January 4, 2015
Reliable
Global Test Market is a very honest survey company. Each survey takes about fifteen minutes and they pay fair. I have already received two payments through PayPal. The customer support is terrible but as long as you don't need them it's a decent survey company to work for. -
December 23, 2014
Simply the best
To begin, I love the Paypal integration. I was able to cash out more compared to other survey sites. It does take time, but it is worth it in the end. There are plenty of surveys available and lots of cash to be made. -
December 19, 2014
Not happy
I have taken surveys with them before without hassle. I just completed a detailed one that took 30 minutes and at the last page it came up with a message saying I had already filled out that survey previously (which I had not as it was on a subject I'd never done before). I didn't receive any reward so it was a waste of time. Last survey I do with them. -
December 11, 2014
Halfway there
I'm halfway to cashing out. I've earned enough for $20 Paypal and wish i could get paid now but they make you earn 1000 points before cashing out. I get surveys that I qualify for almost every day so I can earn pretty quickly. Definitely one of the better survey sites. -
December 10, 2014
Earn money fast but never receive it...
The good news: This site gives you plenty of surveys to do, most of which are quick and pay well. Some of them take longer but it balances out. The bad news: It takes FOREVER for rewards to arrive once you cash out, and twice I've redeemed rewards that I never got at all! -
December 9, 2014
Great site for surveys
Global Test Market is a legitimate site for making some extra cash. There are plenty of surveys for everyone. I cashed out a couple of times and they always pay on time. Try this site once and you will get addicted to it. -
December 3, 2014
favorite site for paid surveys
i know a lot of people complain about the high payout threshold but i like it because it gives you something to work towards and then you get a rally valuable reward. -
December 1, 2014
Almost Perfect
If they told you in advance how long the survey will take it would be perfect. Otherwise no complaints. Great site. -
November 30, 2014
Reward System Sucks
You have to earn a ton of points equal to about $50 before you can cash out. Other sites let you cash out at lower amounts. If you could cash out sooner this would be one of the best sites to take surveys for cash. -
November 29, 2014
Tons of survey opportunities
global test market offers a lot of surveys and they reward you immediately. if they told you in advance how long the surveys will take it will be better. -
November 26, 2014
long surveys, ok payment
I wish the surveys on this site were shorter. -
November 25, 2014
One of the best
These are the things I really like about the GlobalTestMarket survey site: - There are always a lot of surveys available to take. - They issue the points immediately upon completion of survey (no pending points). - You can sometimes stop in the middle of a survey and come back to it later (if you can remember which one it is). - You can get paid in cash. There are also a lot of gift cards available. -
November 25, 2014Sometimes you fill out almost half a survey, they get info, and then tell you that you are screened out. To me this is a way of getting free info w/o giving you pts. Then, they up the amount of pts you need to get a check of any kind.
-
November 24, 2014
Need more direct information
This is a good survey site but they need to tell you in advance how long the surveys will take. I also prefer when they reward you in dollars instead of in points. Its more straightforward. -
November 21, 2014
i love GTM
I'm halfway to another big payout from globaltestmarket. I like to get paid in Amazon credit (it's a better value than PayPal credit) and the way it works you have to earn $50 worth before you can cash out. Since they have a lot of surveys all the time I can probably cash out 2 or 3 times before the holidays. Perfect for Christmas shopping! -
November 20, 2014
just ok
There are a lot of good things about Global Test Market, but there are also some things that could improve. The surveys are really long, they don't tell you in advance how long they are, you have to earn 1000 points before you can cash out, and a lot of surveys are already closed when you try to take them. They best thing is that they give you the points immediately when you take a survey. -
November 19, 2014
immediate points
i like that they give you the points immediately. it really makes me mad when some of the survey sites keep your points in pending mode. -
November 16, 2014
Too Long to Cash Out
They make you earn 1000 points before they will let you cash out. That can take a really long time and seems unfair. -
November 14, 2014
My favorite
GlobalTestMarket is my favorite survey site. There are always a lot of surveys available - more than I have time to take. The rewards catalog is extensive (I always work towards Amazon credit). The high payment threshold that other people complain about is inconvenient but just serves as motivation for me to do a lot of surveys faster. I also like how they give you credit for taking the surveys immediately. -
November 13, 2014
tons of survey opportunities
globaltestmarket sends multiple survey opportunities every day. my only complaint is that a lot of the surveys are kinda long. but i know that if i had the time to do all of the surveys they sent that i could make a lot of money. -
November 11, 2014
Pretty good
Lots of surveys to take but they are really long and I get screened out a lot. If those things improved, this would be a really good survey site. -
November 10, 2014
dashboard should be better
globaltestmarket is one of the better survey sites out there but there are some things that would make it better. they don't tell you upfront how long a survey will take. sometimes i get a really long one that i don't really have time for. also, they make you earn a lot of points before they will let you cash out which is unfair since i've already earned the money. -
November 5, 2014
high point threshold
For the most part I'm really happy with GlobalTestMarket. I like the prizes and I like that points are never in the pending stage. But they make you earn 1000 points before they let you cash out, even if the reward you want costs less than that. Being able to cash out at a lower point level would actually be more motivating. -
November 2, 2014
amazon $$
i like doing surveys for amazon money. i'm glad this survey company offers that as a prize. -
October 30, 2014
too long to filter out
maybe i'm just having a bad day but i think they ask you too many questions before they tell you that you don't qualify for a survey. the reason i am giving globaltestmarket three stars is because i like that they award the points immediately when you do qualify, and the prizes are good (useful gift cards). -
October 28, 2014
Pretty Fast Earning
GlobalTestMarket is pretty good compared to other survey companies. They have several surveys a week and give you your points immediately unlike other companies that put them in "pending" mode for weeks. It seems like you can earn points pretty quickly but I won't know until I actually cash out. -
October 13, 2014
High Payout Threshold
I was really excited when I earned enough points to get the reward I wanted - a $10 amazon gift card. I even think that globaltestmarket is pretty fair compared to other paid survey sites when it comes to how many points it takes to earn a reward. But when I went to redeem my reward I discovered that globaltestmarket makes you cash out in 1000 point increments (over $40 in amazon cards). This is ridiculous! If they would change this policy I would think more highly of this survey panel. -
September 30, 2014

Good Topics
The surveys from Global Test Market have been about topics that I know and feel very qualified to answer questions about. It makes me feel like my opinion is important. -
September 23, 2014
few surveys but always qualify
unlike some of the other survey companies there are not always surveys for me to answer from gtm. but i always qualify when they send me invites which makes me think that they do a good job of screening. let's just see how long it takes to earn enough to cash out a reward. -

July 29, 2013I love movies and a website that writes a review is helpful and many other people such as tourist would like to know the best places to eat.

January 24, 2013I’ve been doing surveys for four years and like most of you, I’ve had my ups and downs. Global Test Market is consistently a great survey panel. Their survey payouts are usually much better than many other survey panels. Most are 30 and 35 points, which equates to $1.50 and $1.75. I get numerous survey invites every week and qualify for many. Like most panels, the early bird gets the worm. If you can answer your invitations as soon as they arrive, you will qualify for a far greater percentage. The $50 payout seems high, but I’m usually well on my way to my next cash-out by the time my check arrives. It takes about 5 weeks, but they always pay. I’ve had a couple of studies that paid over $50. Overall, GTM is a worthwhile experience and consistent moneymaker.
-
September 26, 2012I have had little success with this site...do not qualify for almost all surveys....part of the problem is I am white, retired, grown children..modest home, etc... I have more success with other survey sites.
-
August 16, 2012I signed up for GlobalTestMarket after reading a how-to-guide on taking surveys. I have to say so far I am impressed. The surveys have been very easy and I received my first payment yesterday. It did take a couple of weeks, but I received it so I'm happy. I will say that it takes a while to earn points on this site, and it is definitely not something that can create a full time income. However, it does allow you to make some spending cash while you are just sitting around watching TV or whatever else.

July 18, 2012After hearing that several of our readers had had the exact same problem with poor customer service, I contacted the parent company (anyone can do this, they always have the information somewhere on each survey site) and politely escalated the issue. I ended up having a email conversation about the issue in which a Panel Operations & Experience Manager, Recruitment Manager, Panel Ops Analyst and Customer Support Manager were all involved. (Definitely nice to see that they cared). They were very concerned about the issue and said they were taking "immediate action to improve the service." In addition, they told me that "We, as an organization, are currently discussing an upgrade to our customer support so we hope to have a new and improved experience in the near future." During the dialog, I gave them a few suggestions of my own: (1) Better customer service. (2) Actual point rewards (like 5 points) for disqualifying rather than just sweepstakes entries. (3) A lower cash-out threshold (even $25 would be nice). (4) The ability to cash out via PayPal rather than waiting for a check, and/or cashing out more quickly. Their reply? "I’m excited to say all of your recommendations are on our organization’s list for review and potential revision to improve our panel experience in 2012-13. Please keep your eye out for changes to our program!" Just thought I would update you on this. I'm going to still give them a chance... and I just cashed out for my second $50 check this year.
-
July 4, 2012I have actually done that as well and another agent (HeyLey) replied. Unfortunately, he/she didn't really address my concern and instead, gave me another generic reply on how to log on to the site. I'm really getting frustrated with GTM. I also noticed that right after my 5th email, I have stopped receiving survey invites in my inbox when I used to get at least one every other day. I have read a review somewhere that when the user was close to 1,000 points, the user's account got suspended or they stopped sending him/her invites. I wonder if this is what's happening to me.
-
July 3, 2012I had the exact same thing happen to me... I have not been able to find out why this "Victoria Andreeva" just replies the same thing over and over again. What I did was to submit a new trouble ticket with different text and details and that time a new technician was given the case and was able to help me. That's the only suggestion I can give, sorry!
-
June 30, 2012Hi! Does anyone know if there are other ways to contact customer support? I sent them a message through their website regarding a survey I completed which I didn't get points for. A certain Victoria Andreeva replied through email saying that their system shows the survey is incomplete and I have to click the link again. I clicked the email link and took a screenshot which says that their system shows that I have already taken it. I also send a screenshot of the Thank You page saying that I have indeed completed the survey and should be getting 60 points for it. After this, I again get the same exact reply from the same person. I've emailed them 5 times already and I still get the same reply as what I got after my first email. In terms of frequency of sending surveys, they're better than the rest of the sites I'm a member of. However, their Customer Service, as one poster here mentioned, is really terrible. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure if this is the first time that points haven't been credited to my account. The reason why I checked now was because it was a pretty hefty number of points to not be reflected on my balance. If they improved their CS, then hands down, they would be the best out there.

May 5, 2012Honestly I feel that Global Test Market puts other survey panels/websites to shame. Ok, so maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration but it’s definitely one of the best out there if not the best. Perhaps what I like most about Global Test Market is that they really send out a lot of survey invitations via email. I try to take at least 2 or 3 surveys a week with Global Test Market. Like any other survey panel, some of them I qualify for and some of them I don’t. That's to be expected. And perhaps what I like the most about Global Test Market is also one of the things I like the least. They really send out A LOT of survey invitations to the point where most of the emails are just repeats. More often than not I get the same survey invitation sent to my inbox multiple times a day which can be kind of annoying. But I guess its better to receive too many emails than hardly no emails at all. If that was the case then I would have probably stopped working with Global Test Market a long time ago. With Global Test Market I genuinely feel like the rewards are fair and well-earned when you put in the amount of time and effort needed to complete the surveys which often times are not very interesting. So yes, I would certainly recommend Global Test Market. Honestly I think this survey panel is about as close to perfect (of course it has it’s flaws) as any survey panel can get but this is just based off my personal experience with it.
-
February 14, 2012I was with global test market and i used to love them it was easy to quallify for surveys and then they took on otx who is a pain to deal with then they started doing sweepstakes for surveys my time is valuable and i was used to getting paid on time with them they were some one i would tell every one to choose. now they take months to pay you they dont care if you dont like otx or sweepstakes they have gotten two big and gone in a dirrection i dislike. sorry but our relationship has come to a end
-
February 7, 2012I have noticed that its extremely hard to qualify for their survey and that's only after you have answered a good 7 minutes worth of questions then they are like oh well you didn't qualify but some of the questions where to do with the product. So they get some opinions and then they don't give you the reward points either that or your statistics and drop you.
-
January 28, 2012I do survey after survey after survey and all I get is sweepstakes points. Everytime I take a Survey, I don't recieve Points. In all my time I have joined Global Martket I Have Not Recieved any points.
-
January 19, 2012Is there anyone who could help me explain about the redemption? I know that it will take 6-8 weeks outside of the US..im from the philippines and it took more than a year before i had my 1000 points but when i filed my redemption last November 17, 2011 i haven't got my check yet? Is this for real or just a scam which i used to read from some blogs? i tried to email the customer support but it only says one thing everytime i email them ..it will take 6-8 weeks outside of the US..seems like an electronic data messaging..... is there anyone who could help me ease the pain of thinking my check because i really spent more than a year with my effort, time and money in asnwering the surveys..please.... thanks a lot GetPaidSurveys.com note: You can see proof that GlobalTestMarket has paid other people on our blogs and other pages. Since you said you redeemed your check on November 17th, it has now been 9 weeks. However, there were three holidays in the United States during that period (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) that cause businesses and the postal service to close, and usually cause delays, so it may still be in transit. But I completely agree that they should be able to give you a better answer. When/if you have no success contacting a survey panel, the next thing to try would be to call them, or if there is no phone number or that is not practical (as international phone calls are expensive), contact their parent company. In this case, GlobalTestMarket is run by GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), and a link to their site is found on GlobalTestMarket's "About Us" page. I followed the link and found their contact us page, here: http://www.gmi-mr.com/contact/ . I would suggest trying to contact them and mention that you have not gotten support through the normal channels. Good Luck!
-
January 4, 2012Signed up for them. Tried to "take your first survey" - the survey loaded up one page then refused to do anything past that point. VERY unimpressive, looks suspiciously like they code specifically for Internet Explorer, which is a very BAD idea.... GetPaidSurveys.com note:Unfortunately, many survey panels do have some surveys that will run only in Internet Explorer. Some of GlobalTestMarket's surveys are this way, others will run fine in other browsers. Generally, the ones that have problems are not administered by GlobalTestMarket itself, but are affiliates that they have no control over. You may have to open certain surveys in Internet Explorer in order to complete them. Unfortunately, this is the case across the industry, not just a problem with this one panel.
-
December 9, 2011I was hesitant to start with GlobalTestMarket because their 1000 point= $50 cashout seemed to be HUGE and I thought "what if I spend a lot of time and it all gets wasted?". However, at the recommendation of GetPaidSurveys, I went ahead and tried it. After just over a month, I have 700 points, and am getting very close to being able to cash out. At the current rate, I will be able to cash out before Christmas, and start earning my next $50. The surveys are generally fun to take, and if I disqualify, it is done quickly. Initial surveys are all done via email invitation, but if you take a survey and disqualify, you are often offered another one to take instead. One "con" is that some of the surveys only offer sweepstakes rewards instead of points for completion, but you don' t ever HAVE to take a survey you don't want to, so it isn't a major problem. Usually, I find that the sweepstakes-only surveys are offered when they are almost out of surveys but want to let me take something anyway. Their website is basic, but easy to use, and I find that this panel gives me a large boost in my monthly earnings for very little time spent. Highly recommend!
-
December 5, 2011Good variety in the surveys and there are always lots available but it does take a while to build up enough funds to redeem anything.
-
December 2, 2011Sends you an average of one to two surveys a day worrth between 30 and 40 point on average. They sometimes give you extra point just by being active with them. 1 point = 5 cents, 20 points = $1. You have to wait until you get 1000 points, or $50 to cah out though.
-
November 17, 2011I receive surveys from Globaltestmarket just about every day, and I usually can qualify for about 1 out 2 or 3. That is really pretty good, because my experience has been when you are not what they are looking for, they politely say you are not qualified, which allows you to move on to the next survey. Most of the surveys I get are for 35 to 100 points. Have cashed out once for $50 so far, and about half way til my next $50. Definitely recommend.
-
November 6, 2011I almost hesitate to give this an overall four star rating - I would much prefer to go with three and a half if possible. While the survey invites are indeed frequent - several in my mailbox each week, if not each day, my main complaint is the screen out process. There have been two times when I fully completed a survey that took quite a while to do - all the way to the thank you page - only to have the next page pop up saying "Sorry, you screened out of this particular survey but we have others available....". Each time I sent a support ticket in and got the same reply - they "investigated" and were told I screened out. I would like to know exactly what was done with all the survey answers these companies got for free. I've stopped doing the ones that offer big points for that reason - I stick with those that offer 15 to 35 points and take no more than fifteen minutes to do, so if this happens I don't feel as if I've wasted my time. I've been a member for about a year now and have exactly 830 points. I will say I have gotten a few freebies to test out from time to time, so that part is good. I am 170 points away from that fifty dollar cashout and from there I will see if I'll continue. I get enough freebies from other survey sites I belong to, without having to wait to reach fifty dollars for a cash out. Having read here that it takes several weeks to even receive the check, even if I get to 1000 points before the holidays this year it seems like I wouldn't receive the money in time, so I might just keep going through September 2012 and then cash out with whatever amount I have. Will update by then! I will also add most of the surveys are visually appealing and easy to do. The ones I have qualified for and gotten points. Support is rather slow at responding - it's taken over a week at times. And as another pointed out - although it shows surveys available on the site, they tend to be ones I've completed or screen out of already.
-
October 29, 2011In order to really do well with GlobalTestMarket, you got to fill out your profiles. Before I competed the profiles, I must admit I was unimpressed. But, after completing the 10 profiles in their members area, I started to get surveys that were really good and interesting. I am into computers and online stuff in general, and now I get lots of surveys relating to search engine, online marketing, etc. The cool thing is that they are actually interesting, and it does not take too long to rack up the points. My suggestion to you is to check your email, and try to take the surveys via the email as soon as you can, and if you do not qualify for a survey go onto the next one that is issued via the surveyhub. I often find that the followup sometimes pays better than the original survey that was sent. I have gotten several $5 (100) point surveys this way. Just cashed out $50 last Monday, and already back to 200 points in my account. This really is a good survey site if you fill out the profiles.

October 27, 2011Good luck not getting screened out of every survey!! The surveys are really long compared to other survey companies. You will spend 15 min. on a survey and then you are screened out!! In three months I only had 130 points. You need a 1000 for anything. Don't wast your time on this company!!! l

September 7, 2011GlobalTestMarket is one of the better survey panels. It is true that you may not qualify for all surveys, but the sheer frequency of surveys you do receive still make it easy to earn points and reach the $50 threshold for cashing out. Plus they at least have the decency to disqualify you quickly if you do not qualify for a survey, and quickly offer up a new survey for you to take. Also they do a good job of explaining things on the site.
-
September 4, 2011They send a lot of invites but you qualify for very few. After an inbox full of emails from Global i was surprised when i checked my balance and found very little point. Not worth the time.
-
August 16, 2011This is one of my favorite survey companies! You receive invitations daily or every other day by e-mail, so it's nice they notify you. Though you may not qualify for every one, and some of the survey's are for entries not points. So, it's up to you if you want to do the (not paid) survey's that are for entries not points. The points do take awhile to add up (1000 = $50 check). And, survey's range from 15-65 points, more or less. But, once you get up there, it feels good to cash out! They only pay by check (OK with me), not by Paypal or gift-cards or any other method. I've cashed out 3-4 times in the past year, and the check does take a few weeks to come. I have contacted their customer support about survey issues and they're really friendly, and get back to you within a few days. Would highly recommend this company.

August 8, 2011when i 1st started doing online surveys i signed up for mysurvey.com but that one wasnt all that great. It takes forever to get a pathatic 5 points! then i found a new website named Globaltestmarket.com and it was soooo much better! i pretty much get a new suvey everyday and the surveys arent boring or take to much time. i really love global it is definetly my favorite market research website! if you are thinking about signing up for a market research website too, i highly recommend globaltestmarket!!
-
August 3, 2011I am an active member for the last one and half year. Recently I got $50. It is very encouraging. Overall I like Global test market and its team. I would like to get more survey so I can earn more.
-
August 1, 2011I have been a member of this survey panel for about four months now and I like this survey panel a lot,I get an average of 5 surveys per week and I do qualify for almost all of them. They offer between 15-40 points per survey. cash out point of 1000 points = $50 . In addition to the points earned per completed survey, you also get entered into daily and quarterly sweepstakes for cash prizes. Overall, I enjoy taking the surveys, especially when you can see your points accredited to your account almost immediately. I would recommend this survey site to anyone looking for a steady stream of surveys, its well worth joining.
-
July 24, 2011I've been a member about three weeks now and I've gotten several surveys per week so far. Some you may only get that day to complete it, but not all. Also, when my computer had an issue loading a survey, I sent them a quick message and they responded right away, allowing me to complete the survey. However, I must add that you only need 1,000 points to get $50, which doesn't seem like much, but each survey invitation only offers 30-35 points and if you're like me, you don't qualify for all of them. At least you get entered into drawings! Overall, though, I'd recommend GlobalTest Market.
-
July 10, 2011i just signed up up a few days ago and ive done like 10 surveys!! though i got screened out a bunch of times, they were pretty great surveys that i enjoyed!!! i ended up getting no points but i found out that those surveys were for sweepstakes!!!! each survey was like 1 to 3 entries!! thats AWESOME!!! its a win-win situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
July 10, 2011I have been a member of this survey panel for several years now,and I really have to say this is my favorite survey panel so far.I get a lot of surveys on a daily bases which makes it easy for me to earn more money,if I don't get qualified for the survey I get kicked out after a shot period of time which I also like because I am not spending a huge amount of time putting my information to realize that I don't qualify. I also feel that the quality of the surveys they send out are good and interesting. Only complaint is that it can take a little while to reach the $50 cash out, so you do have to put in a little time before you can reap the results, but I can assure you they do pay. I have cashed out multiple $50 payments with globaltest. I would recommend this panel.
-
July 8, 2011the surveys came ever day but i was screen out of everyone, it is a complete waste of my time, i go to answer a survey and the first question i am screened out. they send the same surveys and even if i put a different answer i still get screened out!!
-
June 25, 2011One thing I can say for GlobalTestMarket is that they send lots of surveys. I get one to two invites per day in my email box. I only qualify for about 1 out of 3 survey invites, but the disqualification process is usually pretty quick, and they do immediately offer you another survey if they do disqualify you. I sometimes take the followup survey, and usually I can qualify for that. All in all, the pay is not bad, and with a little effort you can reach the 1000 points to cash out for $50. I am sitting at 935 right now. Only 65 to go!
-
June 23, 2011have been a member of Global Test Market for so long I cannot remember when I started. I would love to have the ability of these people who has masses of surveys and earn hundreds of dollars. It is not my experience. My earnings are extremely slow, I have just over $60 I think waiting for me to claim now but that is only my 2nd $50 in all the years I have been with them. I think a big problem I have is I am over 70 years old. I do have a quibble with Global Test Market, it is the promise that there is another survey at the end of the one you have just done and you are told the survey is empty, no questions in it. I have one sitting there for months under my name on their site, with a number to it. It never goes even when I point it out to them The other quibble is. for months I have been told that a survey they promised me with a reward of 200 points will start next week. I have been receiving this message since last year.Love to know if it really exists.
-
June 19, 2011This is my second favorite survey company! I really enjoy and look forward to receiving surveys from them. I can't wait to add up points to cash out, and it's rewarding for me. I say I qualify for about 75% of the surveys I receive. Their customer service responds promptly, and courteous.
-
June 8, 2011I have been with GTM since the beginning of May 2011 and receive surveys weekly. There are a few surveys I don't qualify for but they do send enough that you do get points. It does take a while to accumulate enough points to cash out. Customer support is quick to answer your questions. I had a problem with one of the surveys and contacted them. They checked it out and they let me know there was an error with it. They rewarded me points for the time I spent on the survey, which was great! All in all very interesting surveys.
-
June 8, 2011One day I got a cheque for 10 USD and I did not realise from where it came from and then I saw Globaltestmarket. I was so proud of it and showed it to all my friends. Due to the low rand it is quite a bundle of money. I was not sure should I frame it or deposit it in the bank. Thanks globaltestmarket you made my day. Okay I did put it in the bank. I am looking forward to your surveys and keep up the good deeds. Be blessed.
-
June 4, 2011GTM is an amazing site, this was the first site i chose out of all the sites, and i love it! it's easy to qualify, but it does take a while to raque up enough points for the bonus
-
May 24, 2011I first reviewed this site over a year ago and have to say that Global Test Market is one of the mainstays in my preferred paid online survey sites. The surveys are relatively short (Usually between 15-30 mins), the compensation is good (Usually between 35-60 points) and the invites come frequently (Usually a few times a week) so that it doesn't take long to hit the $50 cash-out mark.
-

May 15, 2011Just irritaed that i get plenty of surveys from them but before i even get to the 10th question i get screened out EVERY SINGLY TIME. It makes no sense and its rediculous.
-
May 4, 2011There are plenty of surveys waiting for me, when I check me email after school, and I have to say that I do look forward to them! I havent cashed out any money yet, but will soon. I joined 3 months ago, and am loving it! Although I do have to say that sometimes there are repeated surveys. The longest survey Ive ever taken was probably 30 minutes, but the estimated time was 45 minutes, and I was watching TV while doing it. Always worth a try, what's there to lose, right ?
-
May 1, 20114. Global Test Market $753.15 (500 points = $50 minimum cash out) (Joined: 2008-03-01) ($701.40 received) [Last Cash Out: 3-10-11] (requested $51.75 on 3-26) I first reviewed Global Test Market on January 25, 2010 and, for me, not much has changed since then. I've earned an additional $345 over the past 15 months, which is spectacular by any standard. I've completed 161 surveys ranging from 15 ($1.50) to 100 ($10.00) points, with the typical survey valued at 35 ($3.50) points. Checks typically arrive in six to eight weeks and I am expecting one soon for $51.75 that was requested on March 26, 2011. The only improvement I could suggest would be if they had PayPal for instant delivery of incentives. The only real complaints that I have are that they now offer surveys for sweepstakes entries and also, occasionally, I will receive a survey from OTX, which as everyone knows, are usually the longest and most tedious surveys. With each sweepstakes entry received, you will be entered into both the Daily and Quarterly prize drawings. Daily winners receive a cash prize of $300 and quarterly winners receive cash prizes worth a total value of $20,000. Although I have never had a problem requiring customer service, you can always contact them using their Contact Us form found here: http://www.globaltestmarket.com/contact.php

April 30, 2011I must say Global Test Market is the BEST survey company. Prompt surveys, prompt customer support team, prompt payment etc. They are quick to send you surveys promptly and definitely want honest frank reviews from consumers or you will be screened out from the survey, but yet they give 5 points, but if you complete the entire survey the reward is 40 to 60 points. Overall they are great. THUMBS UP GLOBAL TEST MARKET.
-
April 30, 2011I have been with them for over 5 years and have been very fortunate to qualify for about 75% of the surveys I receive (do your profile surveys, they do get more surveys to you if they know what your interests are). Their surveys are very easy to complete and although it may take some people more time than others to reach the 1000 pt. $50 mark, it is a great way to earn extra money.
-
April 24, 2011This is a good survey site, I get a good amount of surveys but I'm screened out of most of them. At least they give you entries for cash prize giveaways if you screen out (but i'd rather at least get SOME points!). I like that they email me when I have a survey but some surveys are only for one day, and other ones I go to take the survey(a survey I JUST got) and it says they have enough people for it. It's a pretty good site but I'd like to actually get rewarded for my time on it.
-
April 23, 2011Global Test Market is my favorite survey site. While it is true that you do often screen out of surveys, it's not true that it's 'hard' to do them. I usually screen out within a matter of a few simple questions that take only a few seconds to complete. This site has offered me more surveys than all of my other sites combined, usually about 1-2 per day. The points, while they may not seem like a lot at first, are adding up quickly and although the cash-out threshold is high, I prefer it to be that way. Market points are added to your account the moment you complete your surveys which is also very nice. On the whole, I would definitely recommend Global Test Market for those who have a little bit of extra time on their hands and who want to get a little extra cash by doing it.
-
April 14, 2011I signed up for Global Test Market not expecting much. Boy was I wrong! Survey invites are emailed to your email address regularly, and all come in a nice format including the survey title, and the point value. I joined March 18th and have already had approximately 16 Surveys emailed to me. I will say, their surveys are worth the points. Each survey is usually about 35 points which adds up, considering 1,000 points equals $50.00 (US Currency). Although, I do not qualify for all the surveys I still qualify for a huge chunk of them. Global Test Market rewards surveyors very well for the time spent. When I first joined I didn't get many surveys emailed to me, until I updated my profile. Answering the Profile Surveys were really important, they qualified me for a lot more surveys and allowed me to not get screened out as much. After taking surveys points are usually immediately updated in your account. Overall, I am very satisfied with the way Global Test Market works.. :)
-
April 3, 2011I am only 15, so most sites don't give me many surveys, but Global Test Market has a new one for me every two or three days.
-
April 3, 2011Has been a member for a long time and have received two cheques till now.you will receive a request to fill our a survey every week or may be less. Not much time consuming too. Apart from maintaining my website had a chance to fill those surveys. very rewarding when compared to many survey sites. Overall a happy experience.
-
March 28, 2011As soon as Im almost done with a survey I get screened out. Its as if they get the answers they need out of me and then dont want to compensate me with the points promised. I will not take anymore surveys for them!
-
March 27, 2011I have had my account for over a month. they send my one or two surveys everday but they screen my out of the surveys before i can compleate them. that means i never get any points. i personally wouldnt use this site.
-
March 18, 2011Ive only been with global for a couple of weeks, which may be why I find the surveys fun and interesting. You can get easy points for surveys that only take less than 5 minutes. The surveys are short and sweet. The only thing I dont like is that they send surveys at a bad time for me; while Im sleeping or at school. As a student, money is tight, and I truly believe that this is a good way to earn a little extra money. Nothing wrong with trying it at least once, right?
-
January 13, 2011GTM is one of my top 10 survey companys. It has been online for twelve years and still stable and reliable.I got 2-4 surveys per week and qualitied half of them. The surveys are easy to complete and even disqualitied they provide daily/monthly/quarterly sweepstakes for your hard work.I got surveys pay 35-60 points.Though I have never won any sweepstakes,It still encourage me to take all the surveys. They provide PT too. The minimum points payment is 1000($50) via check.A little high but it real pays.I requested cash out 4 times last year. And this year hope to earn more.
-
November 12, 2010All in all this is a good survey panel. First let me say the good points. They have frequent surveys, pay for time spend is pretty good, the members area is very organized, and they pay cash. Also if you do not qualify for a survey you get a sweepstakes entry. This is also kind of a negative, since they used to offer you small points value for attempting the survey. Now the negative. Not all surveys are for cash. Some surveys are only for sweepstakes entries. However, this is clearly stated in the invitation so you do not have to take these surveys. Also, the $50 threshold is a little high, but if you are in it for the long haul, that is not really a big deal. I have cashed out several times, and if you take surveys reguraly with GlobalTest you can reach the $50 min in a month or two at more. It is definately one of the better survey panels.
-
October 22, 2010I think this is a good survey panel. They send out many surveys that's for sure alot of them I don't qualify for but some of them I do. But I still think this is one of the best survey panels out there. They're legitimate and they do pay. At one point it seemed like they were sending out too many surveys offering sweepstakes entries but that seems to have decreased now. It seems like some people have had bad experiences with GlobalTestMarket. I guess the site just isn't for everyone.
-
October 15, 2010Global Test Market was the first site I signed up for to take surveys. I'm actually quite shocked that some people have such glowing reviews, as this was not my case. Yes, they send you a ton of e-mails, but most I got were for sweepstakes which I kind of doubted anyone ever won. I also had problems with wasting my time thinking I was completing the actual survey only to get disqualified at the end. I was getting so many sweepstakes surveys and the points didn't seem to accumulate in a timely enough manner for me. I never reached the 1000 point limit but I felt it was a little high considering the peanuts they gave me for each survey. My biggest problem, what made me leave the site, was that there were many surveys that I completed that in the e-mail said I would receive x number of points, only to see that GTM credited me with less. I e-mailed them 3 times and while it was taken care of, I felt I did not have the time to deal with this hassle having to check and e-mail them every time I took a survey. So, if you don't mind that, go for it. Otherwise, don't even bother.
-
October 10, 2010I will agree with much many people say. They were my favourite Company and you could through the blog watch & be informed about the Company news. The blog has gone as have numerous good things they had on with this company. I always felt it was such a happy company to work with. I did not always fit the screening but that did not surprise me as I am quite a lot older than most with no children at home but the surveys were interesting and reasonably paid. The other good thing was if you were screened out you always received those 5 points and therefor your points rose slowly but they did rise. Then the sweepstakes started and there were more surveys for sweepstakes than points and no points at all for being screeened out. Also completing what felt like a survey before being told you did not fit. Replies to emails started slowing down and it could not be relied upon to have an answer for a problem. It was unusual to hear complaints about GTM but if you read through colums posted on the net ove rthe years just like this one, you find more and more complaints. It is a real shame to see the change. People who do surveys are usually happy people, "people people" they do not complain unless they do have a real complaint and I know for myself, it took me a great deal of time and the problems to pile up before I really felt let down . What happened did they have a staff change?
-
September 17, 2010GlobalTestMarket has always been a pretty reliable survey panel for me. Their surveys are good, and when they redirect you to a third party panel they at least explain what is going on so you can make an informed decision. I have been paid by them once so far, and yes $50 is a little high for redemption, but Hey at least they have timely payments. Overall if you are interested in taking surveys online, you can't go wrong with this one.
-
September 10, 2010the survey takes to long and points really dont get quafity for real because always get cut off thats sucks i probably want be on they site that long
-
September 2, 2010I have been with GlobalTestMarket for about a year now and I have to say I am happy about the frequency of survey. On average they sent about three surveys per day which is appreciated. I'll say I qualify for about 40% of them, which is pretty good. Surveys comes in a variety of flavor, so you don't get bored with one another. Customer service is good and straight as they solve your problem usually within 24 hours. However, their surveys are usually tedious. Sometimes require you to pay 30 minutes to complete it. On top of that they rewards it with 35-70 points which I think is not enough for a long survey. 1000 points for cashout requirement is a little high, and they don't offer Paypal option. Overall if you are a person with patience you'll find GlobalTestMarket to be a good place. As the frequency and variety of surveys to be pretty good.
-
August 30, 2010Its good but the incentive rewards for the survey is not good sometimes. I usualy get 35-45 marketpoints surveys. At this rate if this keeps up it will take awhile to cash-out because I also do not qualify for a lot but they do have good customer support atleast to me. I emailed therm several times and got a response within 24hrs.
-
August 29, 2010While I must admit that I do not qualify for every survey they send, I do qualify for many, and when I do get disqualified I have found that it is pretty quick. So, I do not find that I waste lots of time, and usually after disqualification I get routed to another survey that I do qualify for. Also, they give you a sweepstakes entry each time you attempt a survey, but do not qualify for it. Did not win any sweepstakes, but still nice feeling to at least there's a chance, so the few minutes spent were not totally wasted. Cannot comment on payment time yet, but the rewads per survey are good and have earned 700 of the 1000 points I need to cash out since joining about a month ago. All in all, I say so far so good about this panel.
-
August 8, 20101. They send lots of surveys. Makes it east to reach the $50 payout. 2. Pay per survey is fair. Most pay at least 35 points ($1.75) and it is not uncommon to get surveys for higher amounts. 3. They send good quality surveys, and they clearly indicate when they are redirecting you to an approved third party survey provider. 4. They have an excellent members area where you can track past surveys you have taken, and current paying surveys available to you. 5. They send you your points balance in each survey invite so that you can get a quick status of how many more points you need to reach the $50 payout. All in all its a good panel, I have been paid several times, and I think its a worthy panel to join.
-
July 23, 2010Horrible customer service. You end up spendking five to ten minutes answering questions to find out that you didn't qualify and you get NO points for your time. I joined Global and Opinion Outpost on the same day. So far I have cashed 3 fifty dollar checks from Opinion Outpost and I haven't even recieved enough points from Global to request a check. Waste of time.
-
July 5, 2010been with this survey site for a couple of years now. and was very good when i first joined. even if you didn't qualify for a surveys you would still get 5 points. but for the last 6 months or so everything about the company has changed for the worse. you don't get 5 points when you are screened out. you still get a good amount of surveys but its very rare that if i qualify these days. will give it another 3 months to see if they improve if not will cancel.
-
June 16, 2010i've been a member for 2 years. firstly i thought this is same like another survey site that wasting your time. so i not focusing on their invitation. when i got over 1000 market points, i redeem it. im very surprise when i receive the cheque from them. i think globaltestmarket it's worth enough.
-
June 15, 2010The thing I like about GlobalTestMarket is that it is a very well run survey panel. While I will not say that I qualify for all of the surveys I receive, I have found that they do a good job with their screener surveys so that you do not waste a lot of time if you are not qualified for the survey. I do wish they would offer some nominal cash amount instead of sweepstakes entries if you do not qualify, but I guess that is better than nothing. I have been a member for about 3 months now, and I have found that if I respond to the survey panels ASAP that arrive in my email, I can usually qualify for about 1 out 2 or 3 surveys. In the past three months, I have been able to get $47 built up in my account and will soon reach the $50 mark required for threshold. I would have reached it sooner, but I usually only have time to take surveys two to three nights per week, so I often misout on some opportunities. All in all if you like sharing your opinions about new products and want to earn a little extra money, I would say GlobalTestMarket is a good survey panel to join.
-
June 6, 2010I have been an active member of Global Test Market for at least a few months. I have only accumulated about 3 or 4 dollars so far. I receive at least a few survey offers every day but qualify for almost none of them. Many times I have to answer several questions before they disqualify me. When I first started taking surveys with them, it was impossible to tell whether you qualified or not by the wording. I complained to them about this and to their credit, they told me that they would fix this problem and have since made the communication of why I failed to qualify much clearer. Despite this I would not recommend joining this site.
-
March 21, 2010This panel has a consistent stream of surveys for their members. I often find that I get at least two to three survey invitations a day from them. Point values very but generally range anywhere from 30 to 100 points. It is not hard to reach the payout level of 1000 points/$50 dollars if you can manage to take several surveys per week. I have been paid several times, and one thing I like in particular is that you can check their blog site to see the status of payments based on your redemption date. The only issue that I have with GlobalTestMarket is that not all of their surveys pay in points, some only offer sweepstakes prizes, but I find that they send me enough of the point surveys that this is not really an issue for me. I usually only have time to take one or two surveys a day from GlobalTestMarket, so this panel works for me. Plus, they have lots of IT surveys which pay well and are interesting. If you are looking for a good panel that pays cash, and can dedicate a little time, this one is a winner.
-
January 4, 2010I have been a member of Global for three to four years. In the past Global ranked in my top two ( I have earned close to $900) but it is losing some ground because of changes, not for the better. Global used to have only paying surveys but has now added surveys that only provide a sweepstakes entry for completion, which seems to be the bulk of survey invites now. Another troubling aspect...Global used to pay 5 cents for at least attempting a survey, even when you didn't qualify. That seems to have passed away as well, where now you just get a sweepstakes entry. When you do get a paying survey invitation generally it is for $1 to $5. For those who take surveys for the money only like me, I still recommend Global....just ignore and don't waste your time on the surveys that offer a sweepstakes entry. It takes a lot longer to get to the 1000 points ($50) needed to cash out...but at least you will get there some day.
-
January 3, 2010In my opinion Global Test Market is one of the top 3 paying Survey Panels. Anyone over 18 is allowed to join this Survey Panel, and start taking surveys. They offer MarketPoints as rewards for each survey they send through email, the Points ranging from 40 to 200 or more. Each MarketPoint is worth 5 cents. I joined this survey Panel in February, 2008 and have so far earned 14800 MarketPoints ($740) which is an excellent amount to earn from a single Survey Panel, because I qualify for most of their surveys. I would definitely recommend all eligible persons to join this Survey Panel. They pay by checks. However, checks can only be redeemed once there are at least 1000 MarketPoints or $50 in our Account. They are very generous in sending me surveys and send me surveys almost daily, upto 3 surveys a day sometimes. I have to say that they have great Customer Service. Once I had some issues with my Market Points, which were not displaying exactly and I wrote an email to Gabriella McNabb, the Director of Global Test Market, and she resolved my issue almost instantly. I have never had any problems with them. Whatever I say about this Survey Panel is not enough said and it deserves much more praises and I definitely recommend all eligible people to join this Great Survey Panel and earn fast money. I cannot compare this Survey Panel with others. They excel in everything. This is really a great Survey Panel to join and earn money, and people should avail this opportunity.
-
January 3, 2010GlobalTestMarket (GTM) hosts a wide variety of survey topics from several survey companies. On average, you will receive 5 - 10 survey each week and, in my case, I qualify for about a third of them. They have a points reward system and on average their rewards are fair, but about half of them are sweepstakes only rewards. In general, I do the points rewards and, if I have some spare time left, the sweepstakes ones. Cashing the points, however, can take a while, since they only pay out after you have reached the 1000 points ($ 50.00) level. But the frequency of surveys is high, so usually you will get to that 1000 points mark relatively fast. GTM hosts a rather high number of OTX surveys and, as mentioned in several paid-survey forums, these surveys should be avoided. OTX is very interested in your opinion, but eventually you are being disqualified or there is an error just when you are about to finish a survey, so you are not rewarded for your work. Fortunately, GTM mentions that they are hosting an OTX survey and these are sweepstakes only, so I usually delete these right away.

January 3, 2010This panel is an enjoyable one and I recieve the most surveys from them which are a mix of surveys for points and surveys for sweepstakes entries. The points per survey are usually 35-40pts each and I probably qualify for half of them. As a plus, in some cases, you still recieve 5 points if you don't qualify. Sometimes though, I will get a survey for points at 1 or 2am and by the time I get to my inbox in the morning, the quota is filled, which stinks! I have gotten a lot of surveys about video games and movies and have been shown upcoming products to review. The surveys are pretty enjoyable but be ready to go through repetitious questions when it comes to qualifiing for a sweepstakes survey. My advice is answer all or as many of the survey invites you recieve because the more you take, the more you will be sent in the long run. Customer support is pretty good if you get the right person. Out of the three times I've emailed CS, twice I got the same rep who didn't even get close to answering my question and considered it "resolved." Someone else with more sense ended up taking over my question which I was happy for!

January 3, 2010I've been a member for about 3-4 years and it took awhile before I started getting surveys on a regular basis. Presently I think I'm getting too many and most I don't quallify for or they've reached their quota, but you are entered into their sweepstake contest as an incentive.. In addition, they ask too many questions before you are disqualified. On the other hand, I like the quality and subjects of those I manage to complete.and most surveys aren't too long. It takes me a few months to reach 1000 points, earning $50. I think I've made about $250-300 since joining, not much, but since I wasn't getting that many invitations it didn't matter. Overall I like the company and if you are one of the luckly ones that qualify for most of their surveys, you can earn a nice sum.. .

Worst survey panel ever
They will not acknowledge you when you contact them for help. They locked me out of my account for no reason whatsoever and will not respond to my requests for help. I am sure because it was near redemption time and they did not want to pony up. They are the worst. -

Cut off
Two weeks ago I stopped getting surveys. I attempted to contact Global in several different ways but received no response. I have over forty thousand life points and it looks as though all my work over the past years is for naught. In other words, I think I have been totally scammed and robbed of any compensation. -
